This is my 13th school year at AFSA and I am very excited to be a part of our new K-8 team.  I have a BA in mathematics and MA in teaching from the University of St. Thomas. Since joining the AFSA family, I have  worked as an educational assistant and a math teacher in grades 5-12.  I have also served as a teacher mentor and school board member.  I believe all students are mathematicians and it is my goal to help them believe this too.
