Dear AFSA Families,
Exciting news! We are expanding the number of sections of students in our Elementary grades and accepting many students from our waitlists.
We do have room for a few more students in Kindergarten and lower grades as well, so spread the word!
With the expansion at the Elementary School, we will move the 7th and 8th grades (current 6th and 7th graders) to the High School as a permanent move. Current 8th graders will move there as freshmen.
Our Little Canada location will be home to our Kindergarten through 6th grade (with plans to add free Pre-K in the near future). Our Vadnais Heights location will be grades 7-12.
To ask about enrollment in grades K-6, please contact Liz Burkwald, lburkwald@afsak12.com or 651-209-3922
To ask about enrollment in grades 7-12, please contact Erik Bruner-Wiltse, ebrunerwiltse@afsak12.com or 651-209-3914
Thank you for being on this journey with AFSA!
Sincerely,
Becky Meyer

Message to AFSA K-12 families regarding COVID protocols sent 9/5/2022:
Dear AFSA Families,
This email is to update you on current protocols concerning COVID.
AFSA is following the latest guidelines from the CDC regarding COVID.
Students and staff are required to isolate for 5 days when they have COVID. Day 1 is the first day of symptoms or the day of the positive test, which ever was first.
They may return to school/work on day 6 as long as they no longer have symptoms and wear a mask for the next 5 days.
Students and staff who have been exposed to someone who has COVID are not required to isolate unless they develop symptoms.
Best advice is to stay home when ill!
AFSA will continue to follow our cleaning protocols in the school buildings and in our vans and buses.
We no longer have tests for COVID to send home.
For additional information, please contact us.
Sincerely,
Becky Meyer
