Please let us know if you or someone you know has a business that would benefit from our students helping on FCSD.
Twice a year, AFSA High School heads out into the surrounding communities for our Farm and Community Service Days (FCSD). By getting their hands in the dirt, planting, and harvesting, students help local small businesses within our surrounding communities. Locations have included city parks, pumpkin patches, urban farms, historical farms, and more. The goal of this day is not only to give back but also to expose students to ag businesses, how they are run, and what they need to succeed. Connections are built between the school and local business owners, giving students opportunities to further their education and maybe even future employment.
