Postsecondary Planning at AFSA High School

Planning for life after high school can be an exciting process and it is never too early to start thinking about one's future!

At AFSA High School, students in grades 7-12 take time in their advisories on Wednesdays for College and Career Readiness (CCR) lessons through the University of Minnesota's Ramp Up To Readiness program. These lessons are meant to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary for success in a postsecondary education. Throughout the year, students will have CCR lessons that focus on the five major areas of postsecondary readiness: Academic, Admissions, Career, Financial, and Social and Emotional Readiness.

Five Ramp-Up To Readiness Pillars include Academics, Admissions, Career, Financial, and Social/Emotional Readiness
