E-Learning Family Expectations Grades 7-12
For any additional days we need to call school off due to weather, for the 2024-2025 school year, we will need to have e-learning days for grades 7-12, this document outlines the expectations for students on these days.
Internet Access Survey
Please complete the internet access survey by clicking here to access the survey (or contact Mr. Wakefield at swakefield@afsahighschool.com). so that we are aware of how students will participate in e-learning.
Attendance Expectations
To be considered present - students must attend a Google Meet and/or complete the assignment posted in Google Classroom for each class.
Schedule
- 9:00-9:15 Check-in Google Meet with Advisors to go over the schedule and the day’s expectations
- 9:30-10:00 Block 1 Office Hours
- 10:15-10:45 Block 2 Office Hours
- 11:00-11:30 Block 3 Office Hours
- 12:00-12:30 Block 4 Office Hours
- 12:45-1:15 Block 5 Office Hours
- 1:30-3:00 General Office Hours
Work Expectations for Students Who Have Internet Access
Teachers will post an assignment on Google Classroom for each class no later than 9:00 am. Students are required to complete the assignment within 1 week of the e-learning day.
If students have questions on the assignment or any other work for the class, they should log in to the Google Meet link on Google Classroom during the office hours for that block.
Work Expectations for Students Who Do Not Have Internet Access
Students who do not have internet access will be given a paper copy of the assignment to complete. To be marked present for the e-learning day, the assignment must be completed within 1 week of the e-learning day.
