Hello! I'm excited to return to AFSA for my second year. This will be my 7th year of teaching- I've previously taught 4th-6th grade. I absolutely love the creativity, independence, and curiosity of upper elementary students! I am passionate about empowering students to take ownership of their learning and pride in their success. This year you will find me outside with students incorporating nature-based learning into our lessons. We will be engaging in lots of projects and hands-on learning this year too! Outside of school, I enjoy hiking and camping, reading or listening to a good book, and spending time with family.
