651-370-1380
Hello! My name is Cami Veldhuizen and I teach 3rd and 4th here at AFSA Elementary. This will be my third year at AFSA and my fourth year of teaching. I am originally from Green Bay and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2019. I'm very passionate about education and have wanted to be a teacher ever since I can remember. Some of my favorite things include the color yellow, reading a good book, practicing yoga, iced coffee, and my cat, Maggie! I am so excited for another great year!

Kelly Hollis
4th grade
My name is Kelly Hollis and I am so excited to work with AFSA Elementary students and families. I live in White Bear Lake and have two amazing children that are 17 and 19 years old. I attended UMD and have my degree in elementary education with a teaching social studies and environmental science minor. My experience includes working with children on the autism spectrum, as the elementary resources and special education teacher at AFSA, as a 4K and first grade teacher, preschool director, K-5 art and science teacher, family educator, parent involvement coordinator, early childhood and young mother’s program director and mom. I am excited to use those experiences in working with your students. I love being near the water, going for hikes with our dog Finley, and anything with family. Please feel free to reach out at any time. I am here to support your child and family.
